It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fernandina Beach can now relate to. They fell just short of the West Nassau Warriors by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Fernandina Beach saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Addington, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Another was Landen Holbrook, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Fernandina Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for West Nassau, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.
