It was a good run, but Medina unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 56-39 bruising from the Magnificat Blue Streaks. The match marked the Battling Bees' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Medina's defeat ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-2. As for Magnificat, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Medina will square off against Highland at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Highland will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Medina surely won't give up without a fight. As for Magnificat, they will head out on the road to challenge Rocky River at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Magnificat has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 178 points over their last three contests.
