Softball Game Preview: Colonial Grenadiers vs. Lake Nona Lions

Colonial hasn't had much luck against Lake Nona recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Grenadiers will welcome the Lions at 6:00 p.m. Colonial has given up an average of 8.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Colonial is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They lost 12-2 to Lyman.

Meanwhile, Lake Nona sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-10 victory over Innovation on Monday.

Lake Nona got a massive performance out of Campbell Walker, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases. Those four runs gave Walker a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Valeria Rivera, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Colonial's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Lake Nona, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
