Basketball Recap: Friendship Christian Spartans vs. Mountain Area Christian Academy Lions
The Friendship Christian Spartans came tearing into Monday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Mountain Area Christian Academy as Friendship Christian made off with a 79-55 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Friendship Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alex Markov led the charge by scoring 21 points along with five assists. Kevin Morozov was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds.

North Georgia Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Lions in Georgia (the Knights are ranked 267th, while the Lions are ranked 585th).
