Basketball Game Preview: Clover Park Timberwolves vs. Franklin Pierce Cardinals

Clover Park is 2-8 against Franklin Pierce since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Clover Park Timberwolves will be playing at home against the Franklin Pierce Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Clover Park comes in on five and Franklin Pierce on seven.

Last Friday, Clover Park didn't have too much trouble with Steilacoom as they won 71-52.

Meanwhile, Franklin Pierce strolled past Highline with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 76-57.

Clover Park has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.9 points per game. As for Franklin Pierce, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Clover Park ended up a good deal behind Franklin Pierce in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, losing 67-51. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Franklin Pierce's Javon Barbee, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 17 rebounds.
