Football Recap: Eustace Comes Up Short

Eustace extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 17 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-10. They were dealt a 51-6 loss at the hands of the Mineola Yellowjackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 56-13 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

As for Mineola, they moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Aidan Shepherd went supernova, picking up 122 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, while also punching in one score on the ground.

Eustace does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mineola, they will face off against Rains at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Yellowjackets will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.78 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
