Adams kept a clean sheet against Seagoville on Tuesday. They blew past the Seagoville Dragons 8-0. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

The win (which was Adams' third in a row) raised their record to 9-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Seagoville, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Looking ahead, Adams will square off against North Mesquite at 7:25 p.m. on Friday. Adams knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully North Mesquite likes a good challenge. As for Seagoville, they will take on West Mesquite at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
