After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, Oakland finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They lost 11-1 to the Encinal Jets. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Oakland's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Encinal, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakland will challenge Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Encinal, they will head out to face off against San Leandro at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Jets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
