Recap: Chapel Hill Tigers vs. Seaforth Hawks        
        
		
            
 It was a good run, but  the Chapel Hill Tigers unfortunately witnessed the end of their  six-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a   46-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Seaforth. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Chapel Hill came into the  game with a sizable advantage  in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings  (they are ranked eighth, while Seaforth is ranked 41st).
 Despite the loss, Chapel Hill still got an impressive performance from   Laynie  Smith, who  scored 11 points along with 8  rebounds and 6  assists. Smith scored a full 26.8% of Chapel Hill's points, the third time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points.  Haara Umenwaliri was another key contributor,  scoring 8 points along with 6  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Chapel Hill  were working as a unit and  finished the game with 16  assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seaforth only racked up seven.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seaforth to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Gabby  White , who  scored 22 points along with 5  rebounds. The  game was  White 's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mia Moore, who  scored 15 points.
 Chapel Hill bumped their record down to 6-1 with that  loss, which was their third straight  on the road. They've been dominating during the  contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.67 points. As for Seaforth,  the  win  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-1.
 Chapel Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Western Alamance at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Western Alamance has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 230 points over their last three contests. As for Seaforth, they will head out on the road to face off against Cummings at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
