RHAM and Bacon Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Raptors will face off against the Bobcats at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (RHAM has three straight wins, Bacon Academy has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, RHAM earned a 12-8 victory over Windsor. That's two games straight that the Raptors have won by exactly four runs.

RHAM secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Mya Strumskas, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

RHAM was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .441. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Bacon Academy's offense. They fell 4-0 to Fitch on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Bobcats have lost by exactly four runs.

RHAM's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Bacon Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

RHAM beat Bacon Academy 8-5 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raptors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
