Soccer Game Preview: Louisville Collegiate vs. Bethlehem

The Louisville Collegiate Amazons & Titans will be taking part in a tournament against the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Bethlehem will be up against a hot Louisville Collegiate team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. The Amazons & Titans were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over Bishop Brossart on Saturday. Thomas Weinrich was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Bethlehem kept a clean sheet against Todd County Central on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 8-0 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Bethlehem considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Bethlehem's win bumped their record up to 10-3-1. As for Louisville Collegiate, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.

Louisville Collegiate took their win against Bethlehem when the teams last played back in August of 2015 by a conclusive 8-1 score. Will the Amazons & Titans repeat their success, or do the Eagles/Banshees have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
