Football Recap: Weldon Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Weldon Valley was feeling good fresh off their 55-20 takedown of North Park last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors had to suffer through a 65-26 loss at the hands of the Flagler Panthers. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

August Filter threw for 155 yards and a pair of TDs. Josh Wells was his top target, picking up 100 receiving yards.

Weldon Valley dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Flagler, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Weldon Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Flagler, they will take on Sierra Grande at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Flagler will need to watch out since Sierra Grande has now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
