Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shelby Valley). They never let the Phelps Hornets get on the board and left with a 19-0 win on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Shelby Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Phelps, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shelby Valley will face off against J.I. Burton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Phelps, they will challenge Magoffin County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
