Basketball Recap: St. Clair Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

St. Clair won the last time they faced Mott and Braylon Frantz did his part to make sure it happened again. The Saints enjoyed a cozy 61-44 victory over the Marauders on Monday with plenty of help from Frantz, who went 6-for-9 on his way to 15 points and four steals. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least 15 points.

Evan Trudeau was another key player, putting up 11 points and five rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy.

The win made it two in a row for St. Clair and bumps their season record up to 6-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points over those games. As for Mott, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

St. Clair wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-54 loss against New Haven on the 14th. As for Mott, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-29 defeat against Eastpointe on the 14th.
