Softball Recap: Pratt Comes Up Short

Pratt fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Great Bend on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 7-5. The loss leaves the Greenbacks still looking for their first win of the season.

Pratt's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Great Bend, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Pratt will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Nickerson at 4:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Great Bend, they will square off against Liberal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
