Soccer Game Preview: Pickens vs. Travelers Rest

Pickens hasn't had much luck against Travelers Rest recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Blue Flame will challenge the Devildogs at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Pickens lost 4-1 to Seneca on Monday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Pickens were already down 3-0.

Meanwhile, Travelers Rest managed to keep up with Berea until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Devildogs came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 4-0. The loss continues a trend for Travelers Rest in their meetings with Berea: they've now lost six in a row.

Travelers Rest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15-1. As for Pickens, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.
