Softball Recap: Odessa Comes Up Short

Odessa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 19-2 to the Midland Legacy Rebels, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Odessa's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Midland Legacy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Odessa is set to square off against their familiar foe San Angelo Central at 6:30 p.m. on the 17th. Meanwhile, Midland Legacy will challenge rival Midland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
