Volleyball Recap: Arrupe Jesuit Takes a Loss

Arrupe Jesuit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Stargate School Eagles, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11, 25-16.

Diego Hernandez paced Arrupe Jesuit's offense, picking up three kills. Hernandez got some help from Victor Minjarez and his three assists. Juan Vargas Sifuente controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Aiden Bissell was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had eight digs. Those eight digs gave him a new career-high.

Arrupe Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Stargate School, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Arrupe Jesuit has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Mountain View on the 27th. As for Stargate School, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Forge Christian on the 27th.
