Soccer Recap: Metro-East Lutheran Comes Up Short

Metro-East Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the Gillespie Miners. Metro-East Lutheran were not able to make up for their defeat to Gillespie from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Metro-East Lutheran's goal came courtesy of Alison Waller, who's now up to five this season.

Metro-East Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Gillespie, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7-2.

Metro-East Lutheran has already played their next game, a 5-1 defeat against Southwestern on the 28th. As for Gillespie, they will face off against North Mac at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
