Basketball Recap: Allen Comes Up Short

Allen suffered their biggest loss since November 14th on Friday. They lost 70-49 to the Prosper Eagles. Allen was probably out for revenge after losing 69-50 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Allen's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Prosper, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

Allen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-39 win against Mansfield on the 26th. As for Prosper, they will host Reedy at 1:00 p.m. on December 28th. Prosper knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Reedy likes a good challenge.
