South Central dropped their record down to 20-7 on Friday, which also ended the team's 12-game streak of wins. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The matchup marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

As for Scotland, the win (which was their 26th in a row) raised their record to 27-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games.

For Scotland's part, Avery Stutts made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Stutts has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Addison Johnson was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April.

As of now, neither South Central nor Scotland have any future games scheduled.
