Softball Recap: Kirtland Hornets vs. Harding Skippers

Kirtland's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Harding Skippers 25-4. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Hornets considering their two-run performance the game before.

Grace Mastrangelo was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits (and not a single walk). Mastrangelo was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
