Volleyball Recap: Chetopa Takes a Loss

Chetopa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Baxter Springs Lions. The Hornets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-6.

Chetopa's loss dropped their record down to 1-17-2. As for Baxter Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Chetopa has already played their next matchup (against Southeast), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Baxter Springs, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Galena on the 6th.
