Meanwhile, in what's become a running theme this season, Petal gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 19-1 margin over Meridian. Petal's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Rylie Hensarling tossed a big game, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk).
