Football Recap: Dacula Falls Despite Big Games from Isaac Kareem-Maman and Garrison G Cantrell + How To Watch

It was a Battle of the Birds when Dacula challenged Mill Creek on Friday. The Falcons lost 37-17 to the Hawks. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost six in a row.

Dacula's loss came despite strong showings from Garrison G Cantrell and Isaac Kareem-Maman. G Cantrell threw for 251 yards and two TDs, while Kareem-Maman picked up 132 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Mill Creek was led to victory by Anderson Ragone and Jayde Beasley. Ragone threw for 146 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Beasley rushed for 176 yards and one TD while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Carson Hurter also helped out with an impressive 82 receiving yards.

Dacula's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Mill Creek, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dacula will take on Buford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves' defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so the Falcons' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Mill Creek, they will face off against Collins Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
