Basketball Recap: Veribest Comes Up Short

Veribest has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 62-50 to the Water Valley Wildcats on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-50 back in January.

Veribest's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Water Valley, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Veribest will challenge Robert Lee at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Water Valley, they will face off against Garden City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
