Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liverpool). They walked away with a 20-15 victory over the Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets on Tuesday. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

The win made it two in a row for Liverpool and bumps their season record up to 2-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Fayetteville-Manlius, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liverpool will welcome Baldwinsville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors are facing the Bees at the right time seeing as the Bees are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Fayetteville-Manlius, they will host Auburn at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
