Football Recap: Fryeburg Comes Up Short

After soaring to 37 points the game before, Fryeburg was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 53-7 loss at the hands of the Cony Rams. The contest marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fryeburg fell to 4-1. As for Cony, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Fryeburg will be playing at home against Lawrence at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cony, they will square off against Skowhegan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the River Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.2 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
