Kaidon Salter, Longhorns move up 10 spots.

It took a spectacular individual performance in a spectacular game, but Cedar Hill showed it belongs among the Texas elite. Kaidon Salter passed for 210 yards and ran for 200 more while accounting for six touchdowns Friday in the Longhorns' thrilling 49-42 home win over previously unbeaten and No. 3 DeSoto.

Salter's 48-yard scamper in the final three minutes ultimately helped Cedar Hill jump 10 spots in this week's Texas Top 25 high school football computer rankings to No. 3.

DeSoto, which got 273 total yards from Samari Collier, dropped just one spot to No. 4.

At the top, No. 1 Duncanville scored 42 points in the first quarter en route to a 74-21 win over Waco Midway. Grayson James completed 13 of 15 passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns. Malachi Medlock, Maraveous Reed and Jayvyn Square combined for 17 rushes, 234 yards and four touchdowns.

Senior quarterback and Alabama commit Jalen Milroe went 15 of 21 for 211 yards and three touchdowns, sparking the historic victory for Tompkins. Katy dropped nine spots to No. 13.

Arlington Martin moved up three spots to No. 6 with a 55-23 win over Bowie as Zach Mundell accounted for 342 yards and six touchdowns. Martin scored 55 of the game's final 63 points. Mundell completed 20 of 24 passes for 278 yards and five touchdowns, two each going to Angel Merida and Cal Robinson, as the Warriors fought back from a 15-0 deficit.
