Softball Recap: Pulaski County Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Pulaski County's offense. They fell just short of the South Laurel Cardinals by a score of 2-0 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Maroons have suffered since April 20, 2024.

Pulaski County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15-2. As for South Laurel, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pulaski County will face off against Taylor County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Laurel, they will take on Whitley County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
