The Gilmer Buckeyes extended their postseason success on Friday against the Aubrey Chaparrals. They walked away with a 34-21 win over the Chaparrals. Winning may never get old, but Gilmer sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Gilmer was led to victory by Will Henderson and Cadon Tennison. Henderson rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown, while Tennison rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Tennison really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.

Gilmer's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Aubrey, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Gilmer is on the road again on Friday and play against Carthage at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Carthage has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 535 points over their last 12 matchups. Aubrey does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
