Soccer Recap: Skyridge Continues Road Dominance on Wednesday

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Skyridge ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Lehi Pioneers 2-1. The victory continues a trend for Skyridge in their matchups with Lehi: they've now won three in a row.

Christian Poll and Ryder Gentry scored both of Skyridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Skyridge pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matchups. As for Lehi, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Skyridge will head out to square off against Pleasant Grove at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for Lehi, they will face off against American Fork at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th. American Fork will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Lehi surely won't give up without a fight.
