Soccer Recap: Webb City Comes Up Short

Webb City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kickapoo Chiefs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Webb City of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Webb City's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Kickapoo, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Webb City will take on Nixa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kickapoo, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 5-0 defeat against Springfield Catholic on the 12th.
