Softball Recap: Isabella Comes Up Short

Isabella fell victim to Maplesville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Red Devils, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Isabella now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Maplesville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Isabella will challenge Verbena at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maplesville, they will take on the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
