Basketball Recap: Squalicum Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lynden Christian, Squalicum was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Sedro-Woolley Cubs 47-44. The Storm have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cubs, too.

Squalicum has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Sedro-Woolley, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Squalicum will take on Anacortes at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Sedro-Woolley, they will challenge Bellingham at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Sedro-Woolley is facing Bellingham at the right time seeing as Bellingham is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
