South County waltzed into their match on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Hayfield Hawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

South County was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-22, 27-29, 25-22, 15-5.

Devin Ko was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 15 digs and six assists.

South County's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Hayfield, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7.

South County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Woodson on the 30th. As for Hayfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Justice on the 30th.
