Baseball Recap: Nanuet Makes It Five in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Nanuet, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They never let the Eastchester Eagles get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-5 back in April.

Nanuet's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Eastchester, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Nanuet wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 9-5 loss against Rye on the 28th. Eastchester does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
