Volleyball Recap: Madi Wojciuch Key Part of Team Effort in Trojans Win

East Troy won the last time they faced Kenosha Christian Life and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles.

East Troy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Madi Wojciuch out in front who had five digs and four aces. Wojciuch has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Hailey Wojciuch, who had five digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: East Troy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in five consecutive matchups.

Despite the defeat, Kenosha Christian Life had strong showings from Linnea Lind, who had 15 digs, and Alexandra Wine, who had four aces.

East Troy's victory bumped their record up to 15-16. As for Kenosha Christian Life, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

East Troy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against West Allis Central on the 4th. As for Kenosha Christian Life, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against South Milwaukee on the 5th.
