Neuse Christian Academy will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Friday, then bounced right back against Hilltop Christian on Tuesday. The Lions blew past the Chargers 6-2. The result was nothing new for Neuse Christian Academy, who have now won four matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Thales Academy Apex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to Friendship Christian. Thales Academy Apex were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Thales Academy Apex's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Neuse Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Neuse Christian Academy took their victory against Thales Academy Apex when the teams last played back in August by a conclusive 9-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
