Soccer Game Preview: Bishop Feehan vs. Catholic Memorial

The Bishop Feehan Shamrocks will challenge the Catholic Memorial Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Bishop Feehan came up short against Bishop Hendricken on Saturday, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Bishop Feehan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 36th in Massachusetts, while Bishop Hendricken are ranked first in Rhode Island).

Meanwhile, Catholic Memorial hasn't lost a match since October 2nd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. Neither they nor Rockland could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. That draw made it three straight for Catholic Memorial.

With that draw, Catholic Memorial's record moves to 10-4-4. As for Bishop Feehan, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2-4.

Bishop Feehan was able to grind out a solid win over Catholic Memorial in their previous matchup back in September of 2016, winning 2-0. Will the Shamrocks repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
