Football Recap: Patterson Takes a Loss

Patterson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 57-19 loss at the hands of the Belle Chasse Cardinals. The matchup marked the Lumberjacks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Patterson's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Belle Chasse, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Patterson will take on Berwick at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lumberjacks will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Belle Chasse, they will square off against St. Charles Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
