Glencoe hadn't done well against Spring Garden recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets walked away with a 2-0 win over the Panthers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in September.

Glencoe's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Payton Gray, who had 12 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Gray has posted since back in August. Avery Barkley was another key player, getting 11 assists and five aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Glencoe was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive matchups.

Glencoe's record is now 25-13. As for Spring Garden, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Glencoe will take on Munford at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Spring Garden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
