Heritage Academy dropped their record down to 7-6 on Thursday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Boonsboro Warriors, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Boonsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games.

For Boonsboro's part, Parker Debaugh made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Debaugh was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Russell Colliere, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and three RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Carson Rhodes, who went 1-for-3 with three runs.

Coming up, Heritage Academy will venture away from home to challenge Martinsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boonsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
