Football Game Recap: George Walton Academy vs. Towns County

On Friday, George Walton Academy put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They blew past Towns County 41-7. George Walton Academy have a history of success against Towns County, winning their last head-to-head 41-7.

George Walton Academy's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 35 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Towns County couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 35-0 heading into the break. Although they lost the second-half battle, they still had plenty to win the war. The victory bumped their record up to 4-0. The loss dropped Towns County back to even at 2-2.

Next week George Walton Academy take on Lakeview Academy at 7:30 PM. George Walton Academy have bulldozed their previous three opponents, so Lakeview Academy might have their hands full. As for Towns County, they will face off against Athens Academy.
