Basketball Recap: Jefferson County Takes a Loss

Jefferson County lost against Bleckley County back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jefferson County Warriors fell 65-54 to the Bleckley County Royals.

Leading Bleckley County to victory were Nykez Farrow and Kam'Ryn Everett. Farrow went 7-for-13 on his way to 21 points and three steals, while Everett posted 18 points and three steals. That's the most steals Everett has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylin Gardner, who earned seven points and seven boards.

Jefferson County's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Bleckley County, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Jefferson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bleckley County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-63 victory against Dodge County on the 12th.
