 Westview can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Monday. They blew past the Peabody Golden Tide 12-1. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Westview considering their one-run performance the  game before.
  McCall Simms made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 11 batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Simms has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Simms was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Molly Jackson and  Addie Roberts did most of the damage at the plate:  Jackson  went 2-for-3 with a  home run and four  RBI, while  Roberts  went 1-for-2 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Alexis Evans, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 On Peabody's side,  Alexis Wilson was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-2 with a  home run.
 Westview's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Peabody, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost nine of their last 11 matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record  this season.
 Westview will head out on the road to  take on  Milan at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Peabody, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against McKenzie at 5:00  p.m. McKenzie is coming into the  match with three straight  losses on the road,  meaning Peabody will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win.
