Softball Recap: Westview Chargers vs. Peabody Golden Tide

Westview can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They blew past the Peabody Golden Tide 12-1. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Westview considering their one-run performance the game before.

McCall Simms made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk). Simms has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
