Softball Recap: Burlington Township Falcons vs. Bordentown Scotties

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cinnaminson, Burlington Township was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bordentown Scotties and snuck past 4-3. For Burlington Township, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 defeat Bordentown walked away with the last time they faced one another on April 10th.

Rylee Reid spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.
