Basketball Recap: Plattsmouth Victorious

Plattsmouth's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Standing Bear Grizzlies by a score of 65-54.

Logan Ksiazek was nothing short of spectacular: he shot 91% from the field to rack up 26 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Johnson, who went 6-for-12 en route to 13 points.

Despite the defeat, Standing Bear saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Parker Fellers shot 58% from the field on his way to 15 points and seven assists. Another player making a difference was Carlos Risueno, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 13 points and five boards.

Plattsmouth's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Standing Bear, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.

Plattsmouth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-48 win against Ralston on the 22nd. As for Standing Bear, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 76-47 victory against Nebraska City on the 26th.
