Baseball Recap: Mukwonago Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Mukwonago came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Oak Creek Knights as they made off with a 9-1 victory. Considering the Indians have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Mukwonago got a great performance from Ben Jones as he struck out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. That's the most strikeouts Jones has posted over his last five contests.

On the hitting side, Carson Greuel was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Bo Dooley, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Mukwonago's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Oak Creek, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9.

Coming up, Mukwonago will challenge Waukesha West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Creek, they will host Indian Trail at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
