Basketball Game Preview: North Rangers vs. South Rebels

The North Rangers will head out to take on the South Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 14.

North is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Riverside on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. North was outmatched by Riverside and fell 85-57. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 555th, while the Beavers are ranked 218th).

Meanwhile, South came up short against Kenston on Friday and fell 57-44.

South dropped their record down to 7-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for North, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 7-12.

North suffered a grim 58-34 defeat to South in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can North avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
